Greetings. I am Arisha, also known as Ms. In Stitches. Growing up, sewing was a big part of my life: I watched my mother sew alterations at my dad’s dry cleaning business, I spent afternoons at our neighbor’s fine tailoring business hunting for fabric scraps to sew outfits for my Cabbage Patch doll, and I sewed my first wearable garment when I was 6. Being surrounded by so many amazing sewing resources was a wonderful apprenticeship where I was able to acquire a breadth of knowledge and develop a variety of skills. In 1999, I turned my hobby into a business as a means to support my family, but now it has grown into a family business. We hope you'll entrust us with your sewing needs and join the In Stitches family.
